The BRAX MATRIX speaker series has stood for years for unique sound and quality characteristics. So it is only logical that in the further development of our 54 mm dome midrange the latest technologies and high quality materials were the focus, in order to meet the claim of the BRAX brand to a pure, unadulterated music reproduction.

The novel, particularly lightweight and fine-meshed silk dome with a visco-elastic, double-sided Acronal coating guarantees discoloration-free mid-tone reproduction without compression effects. The integrated coupling volume damped with pure sheep’s wool enables a particularly low resonance frequency and thus allows a deep acoustic coupling.

In terms of design and technology, the BRAX philosophy continues without exception: The subtle, elegant appearance reveals smart details such as the two-piece, turned from solid stainless steel housing for maximum heat dissipation, the extremely precisely crafted, 10-fold ventilated neodymium magnet for an optimal linear magnetic flux, The integrated, 24-carat gold-plated connectors for maximum conductivity, the thread with solid mounting ring on the back of the housing for hidden attachment and the sturdy grid for optimal protection of the dome from damage.

In order to fully meet our high quality standards, the speakers are hand-selected for perfect sound interaction and assembled into pairs on the basis of their acoustic parameters and recorded with a serial number in a service database. This high-end product is completed by the packaging in a noble wooden box, which again underlines the philosophy of the BRAX brand.
